Nancy Bea Miller received her MFA from the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts in 2014. Her
work has been shown widely, including solo and group exhibitions in Pennsylvania, Maine, Colorado,
Tennessee, France and Italy. She teaches painting and drawing at various colleges and art centers in the Philadelphia area including Montgomery County Community College, the Main Line Art Center, and
Harcum College.
Miller’s work has received numerous honors including: Best of Show, Art of the Flower, Philadelphia Sketch Club; the Faculty Award, Pennsylvania Academy of
the Fine Arts; Best Transparent Watercolor, Philadelphia Sketch Club; the Art & Change Grant, Leeway Foundation; the Independence Foundation Fellowship in the Arts; the Valerie Lamb Smith Artist Residency;
and the Francis Speight Award for Excellence in the Visual Arts, Manayunk Foundation for the Arts.
